A Mad World, Indeed

Today’s spiritual forecast seems to be overcast with chance of thunderstorms. Whether or not “God is dead” as Nietzsche proclaimed is largely irrelevant. People seem to be occupied enough with work so only as to be made into consumers, commodities in their own right. The enslaved populous is allowed just enough time to run out for a cheaply constructed dinner and drinks and perhaps a weekend shopping, buying useless nonsense in a vain attempt to fill an ever-widening void. What a world!

  1. Great observations, but the ability to believe God exists and invite him into our existence is dependent in great measure on whether we are willing to enter into a dialogue about him with Him, don’t you think?
